Yesterday, senior and student Nadine Ans our Corona Project to see EenVandaag !
Ans (69) used to receive help through home care. “My home care was canceled due to corona. Now I get help from a student, ”she says. The student, Nadine, mainly helps her with vacuuming and mopping the floor and running errands every now and then.
Nadine (21): “I think it’s a small effort and I now have time to spare. So I like to go to the supermarket. ”
Founder Anne of the Senior & Student Foundation: “I notice that students themselves also like to have a goal, to be of value at the moment. I think a crisis like this certainly contributes to social cohesion, also because the necessity is now very visible. ”
